To create this multi-image collage I started by creating a new 8x10 photo document and then imported the photo of my cat which I placed onto a second layer. I used the eyedropper tool to take a colour from the wall behind her which I filled the background which. I then changed the layer style to luminosity which gave it a unique vintage look that I was into. I created a new layer placed over these two, and I used a soft brush tool to make Sookie's eyes look more green and vibrant, and stand out from the muddled browns of the background layers. I merged all three of these layers, then created another layer which I placed all of my other photos on. I cropped some slightly using the marquee tool and layer via copy. I then merged all of my photo layers together so I could add the same blend modes to all of them. I added a green stroke, (similar to the colour of Sookie's eyes) and a brown outer glow (similar to the darker colours in her fur) to draw the colours of the ad together. I then added a text layer with a green colour overlay, black stroke, and similar outer glow. I then decided to add a brown inner glow to the background layer to have it match the other elements a bit better. I'm satisfied with the final product, but can see room for improvement in the way of making everything go together well.
